Kari + Ryan

In August, I did a sweet wedding for a great couple. I met Kari through the reception coordinator and at our meeting, I instantly loved her. She was a laid back bride with a great sense of what she wanted and she loves the color mint… so I knew we could be friends. Plus, her amazing mom held an unusually fussy Gwynnie while we talked!

Shout out to the equally sweet photographer, Courtney Ryburn for the gorgeous photos!

After spending several years as a missionary, Kari wanted to use a batik piece of cloth on her bouquet. I thought it was a lovely touch and great symbol of her passion for people. Speaking of passion for people, this girl had 10 bridesmaids! What a testament to her deep friendships. With that many attendants, we kept it simple with a gathering of white hydrangea wrapped in navy ribbon.

I loved the altar arrangements of hydrangea, roses and calla lilies. The reception was at Zera’s Coffeehouse in Denton and Kari had tons of unique decor and personalized details. Congrats to Kari + Ryan! Thanks for letting me be a part of your big day!
