When I met with Hannah to discuss her wedding, her giddiness was contagious. I can’t help but smile at my screen looking back at this fabulous wedding because her joy radiates in these pictures.
She and Jonathan wanted a laid back event that included all their favorite people… and since Hannah is a wedding photographer by trade, she knew the elements she wanted to pop and how the day should feel. She also included some of my favorite people: Jillian Zamora Photography and Sydney Lopez for hair and makeup.
There were lots of laughs, lots of friends and lots of love as they became Mr. and Mrs. I was honored to be a part of it all. Thanks for including me in your joy, Hannah!
And the day ran so smoothly because Gathered’s very own, Morgan, was the day of coordinator. She’s the best… see proof below. 🙂
Through the power of Facebook, I connected with some local Denton wedding vendors for a casual coffee date to meet each other. One of the girls I met was Amanda who is opening a new wedding venue in in Krum called Hawthorne Hills Ranch. I was so impressed with how she and her husband have overcome so many obstacles to make this dream a reality that when she asked if I would participate in a styled shoot, I immediately said, Yes!
Amanda pulled together a great team and had every detail covered. I knew the vision was elegant navy and gold tablescapes and she requested pops of burgundy and wine… but other than that, she gave me total freedom–which I love! I’d been dying to use red hanging amaranths in a bridal bouquet and I think it tied in so nicely with the tall centerpieces on the tables.
I loved being a part of this day! Thanks to Events at Hawthorn Hills Ranch and all the other incredible vendors!

After meeting with Lesley for coffee, I instantly loved her. She’s got a sweet, caring demeanor and was very laid back about wedding planning. I could tell she just wanted to marry the man of her dreams and the tiny details didn’t matter–the marriage did. We went for a sweet light pink palette with a wildflower look that would compliment the rustic, garden vision. And to top it all off, Lesley wanted a floral crown, and I always love a bride who wants to wear flowers in her hair. For this crown, I wanted it to be dainty, but full, so I used baby’s breath, chamomile and white wax flower. The all white blooms look amazing against her dark hair.
Her friend and fashion designer, Haley Thompson, MADE HER DRESS, and was kind enough to share these pictures with me. How cool is that?!
Lesley was a radiant bride, a dream client, and I’m positive is going to be an excellent wife. Congratulations, Mrs. Wadlow!
